SAFELY OPERATE YOUR UTILITY HEATER: Always operate the heater in an upright position, following the product manual’s instructions. Ensure the utility heater is placed on a flat, stable surface before use. Avoid positioning the heater directly under a power outlet. For safe operation, plug the heater directly into a 120 Volts AC, 60Hz wall outlet. Make sure the plug fits tightly in the outlet to prevent overheating and potential damage to the plug or heater. Proper setup and connection are essential for safe and efficient heater performance.
SETTING THE THERMOSTAT: Once the utility heater is on and the room reaches the desired temperature and warmth, slowly turn the thermostat knob counter-clockwise until the heater shuts off (you should hear a faint “click”). Keep the heaters thermostat at this setting to maintain the temperature automatically. To lower the heaters temperature, turn the knob further counter-clockwise (towards MIN). To raise the heaters temperature, turn the knob clockwise (towards MAX). This simple adjustment ensures your room stays comfortable.
2-HEAT SETTINGS AND FAN ONLY SETTING: During initial use, the heater may emit a slight odor or smoke as the protective coating on the heating element burns off. This is normal and will subside after a few minutes. To start the heater, turn the Power Control dial (right knob) from OFF to FAN, LOW heat, or HIGH heat. Then, rotate the Thermostat Control (left knob) clockwise to the HIGH THERMOSTAT position. This heater offers 2 heat settings and a fan-only mode. Choose the setting that best suits your heating needs.
